Hunter College High School is an elite 7-12 program on the Upper East Side. Admissions is only offered for students entering the 7th grade.   

Students with qualifying 5th grade tests scores can apply to take the Hunter College High Admissions Test, which is administered in January of their 6th grade school year.

 

The test covers Math and ELA, including a writing component.  Significant portions of the test will not be covered in most 6th grade classes by the date of the test.  While challenging, it is a pleasure to work with the bright and hardworking students that have admissions to this exceptional program as their goal.
